Shaun Hu, new media artist based in New York City. MS from the School of Engineering of New York University, MA & BA from the School of Design of Central Academy of Fine Arts, exchanged to the Media Art Department of Karlsruhe University of Art and Design (ZKM) in Germany. The interdisciplinary background of art and engineering makes his art combined with technology. His work has been exhibited in more than 30 exhibitions and won many awards around the world: 2022 Future Art Award (US), 2022 Chinese Universities Digital Interactive Art Competition Gold Award (CN), 2021 Asia Digital Art Award FUKUOKA (JP), 2021 enlightV Future Media Academy Award (CN), shortlisted for the Lumen Prize 2018 (UK), won 2016 Artand the Most Outstanding Young Artist of New Media Art (CN).
